Lube Technicians ensure that all customer vehicles are serviced properly, company procedures and policies are followed and every customer is treated with the utmost courtesy at all times. Provide exceptional customer service and technical aptitude relating to changing oil and performing minor vehicle maintenance for our customers in a fast-paced retail environment.In addition to a competitive hourly wage of $10.00/hour, this position is eligible for monthly product bonuses. After 90 days of employment and certified lube tech completion, Lube Technicians are eligible for a $.50 raise.ResponsibilitiesWash Windshield and Adjust Tire PressureInspect and top off fluids (except brake fluid) according to manufacturers' recommendations. Retrieves and adds oilDrain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittingsAssist the customer in selecting oil type and other services, process payment for services performed.Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill servicesHold a sign to attract customers periodically throughout the dayAssist the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager during the opening and closing proceduresRestock and maintain inventory levels on the floorMaintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanlinessAwareness of car conditionsQualificationsOutgoing and positive attitudeMotivated, energetic, and customer-focusedPass a pre-employment background checkBasic computer skills.
